• Athens City Schools 2020-2021 Community Meal Program 

    Free for Anyone 18 Years and Younger for the Whole School Year

    We are pleased to share the 2020-2021meal service schedule and to offer FREE meals for anyone 18 years old and younger for the length of the school year. Most importantly, we want to encourage everyone to participate in this opportunity! 

    CURRENT STUDENTS COMING ON CAMPUS 

    DATES: Effective immediately (September 2, 2020) through the end of the 2020-2021 school year

    TIME: Regularly scheduled time at your school (School days only. No weekend distribution.) LOCATIONS: All ACS school locations 

    • Meals will be available at any of our school locations during current scheduled meal times 
    • Meals will be distributed “Grab-and-Go” style either in the classroom (PreK-5) or in the lunchroom (6th-12th) to be eaten in the classroom, outside, or designated place determined by the Principal 
    • We will offer 3 meals daily (1 breakfast and 1 lunch meal during the school day); 1 supper meal is available after school for those in latchkey or being tutored or participating in band or athletics 
    • All children 18 and younger can receive food AT NO COST whether they are an ACS student or not 

    REMOTE STUDENTS or ANYONE 18 YEARS OLD and YOUNGER

    • We will provide 2 meals daily (1 breakfast and 1 lunch meal) 
    • All children 18 and younger can receive food AT NO COST whether they are an ACS student or not
