  • Author Visit

    Our school will host an author visit from Science and nature writer, Heather L. Montgomery. Mrs. Montgomery has written numerious childrens books and travels around the United States sharing her passion for animals and nature. She will visit our school on Wednesday, February 28th. We would like to thank the Athens City Schools Foundation for making this visit possible.

  • Kindergarten Academy Showcase March 1st @ 6pm

    Athens City Schools will host an Academy Showase for rising kindergarten students joining the ACS family. This special event is scheduled for Thursday, March 1st at 6:00 pm at the Athens City School Board of Education central office in the board room. The purpose of this showcase is to allow families of kindergarten students entering fall 2018 to preview the Athens Academies and speak with academy leaders.   • Winter Weather Makeup Days

    School will be in session on February 19, March 30 and April 20. These are winter weather makeup days. Parents should speak with the school principal to discuss any scheduling conflicts prior to the date of conflict.
