    Athens City Schools adheres to the Alabama Educator Code of Ethics which defines the professional behavior of educators in Alabama as a guide to ethical conduct. The code protects the health, safety, and general welfare of students and educators; outlines objective standards of conduct for professional educators; and clearly defines actions of an unethical nature for which disciplinary sanctions are justified.

Mrs. Tammie Brand

Tammie Brand is a graduate of Athens High School and has served the Athens City School system for over 18 years. She currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and as the Personnel Services Coordinator. Mrs. Brand received her marketing degree from the University of North Alabama before returning home to Athens to start her family. She has been an active volunteer and sponsor for the Pride of Athens Golden Eagle Marching Band for eight years. Mrs. Brand considers it a privilege to serve the students and families of Athens City Schools.
