Golden Eagle Partner Passport
Visit our community partners from 7:45 AM - 8:45 AM.
Following breakfast, take a few minutes to connect with our valued community partners in the Arena/Gymnasium before the program begins. Pick up your Golden Eagle Partner Passport when you sign in and visit each community partner table to collect your passport "stamps." Once you've completed your passport, turn it in as you enter the APAC for a chance to win exciting prizes, including Amazon, Lowe's, Starbucks, and other gift cards generously donated by our community partners and vendors. Prize winners will be announced at the conclusion of Institute Day. We hope you'll enjoy connecting with our partners!

Dear Faculty and Staff,
Welcome back! I hope you had a relaxing and refreshing summer and found time to recharge. The countdown is on, and we are just days away from welcoming students for the 2026–2027 school year!
Our annual ACS Institute Day will be held on Monday, August 3, at Athens High School. We invite you to begin the morning with breakfast from 7:45–8:45 a.m. in the cafeteria, lovingly prepared by the Athens High School Child Nutrition Team. Special thanks to Velocity1/RJ Young and Trustmark Bank for generously sponsoring breakfast.

Our program will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. in the Athens High School APAC. We are honored to welcome nationally recognized motivational speaker Reggie Dabbs as our keynote speaker. His inspiring message will encourage and challenge us as we begin a new school year dedicated to making a lasting difference in the lives of our students.
As a reminder, Institute Day is required for all faculty and staff. Please remember to sign in at the registration table located in the AHS Arena. Greeters will be on hand to direct you to the cafeteria, Arena, and APAC. A digital agenda, Golden Eagle Passport Map and additional event details are available at acs-k12.org/instituteday.
As we begin another school year, thank you for the dedication, passion, and care you show our students, families, and one another. Because of you, Athens City Schools continues to be a place where every student is challenged, supported, and inspired to succeed. It is a privilege to serve alongside such an exceptional team, and I look forward to all we will accomplish together as we continue to empower all students for lifelong success in a rapidly changing world.
