There are several ways to enroll in Athens City Schools. Please be sure you choose the correct pathway for your student to make your enrollment experience quick and easy! Select one of the following pathways below:

Kindergarten Registration

New Student Enrollment

This pathway is for completely new students to the district entering grades 1st-12th.  All new students to the district may enroll at any time during the year. New Student Enrollment is not for Kindergarten students (please see Kindergarten registration). Click below to learn more about enrolling your new student in Athens City Schools!

Pre-K Enrollment

Preparing children for success begins early. Athens City Schools is proud to offer two Pre-K programs: Alabama First Class Pre-K Program and Eagles Nest Inclusion Pre-K. Returning Student Registration (Re-Enrollment)

This enrollment pathway is for current students in the district.  Student re-enrollment is typically conducted each spring before the end of the school year. Click below to learn more about re-enrolling you current student in Athens City Schools!

Non-Resident Student Admission

Online and Blended Learning Pathways

If you are interested in an online learning experience for students in 4th - 12th grade, visit RenV to register for the 2024-2025 school year.

Renaissance Virtual School

If you are interested in a blended learning experience for students in K-12th grade, visit Athens Renaissance School to register for the 2024-2025 school year.

COMPUTERS AND ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE

Hours of Operation  Office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Summer hours (June/July) are Monday - Thursday from 7:30 - 4:30 pm. No appointment is necessary. To help us serve you best, please bring all required documents with you at the time of registration (enrollment).
