Hello! My name is Melissa Penia and I am a first grade teacher at Brookhill Elementary. I am so excited to be part of the Fame Academy family! This will be my first year teaching, and I am beyond excited for it! I have been at Brookhill since February 2022, previously as the special education teacher. I grew up in Athens and graduated from East Limestone High School. I then went on to get Elementary Education Degree from Athens State. I love Athens and call it home.
