Hi!

I am excited to begin another year at Athens City Schools! My name is Alaina Burdeshaw, and I teach 6th grade Theatre, 6th grade Technology, and Innovations 101 at Athens Middle School. I spent my first five years at the high school before transferring to the middle school level. I have been teaching in Athens since August of 2013. 

When I'm not teaching, you can find me with a cup of coffee, a good podcast/music, some poetry, on a raodtrip, or with my husband and our dogs. I love to travel and will say yes to pretty much any trip at any time! I have been to almost every state in the United States, many National Parks, and various places overseas. I am also an avid sports fan //  I LOVE basketball - the Boston Celtics - and the St. Louis Cardinals! 

I look forward to meeting, learning, and growing with each of my students this year, and I cannot wait to see what this year holds!
