I am honored to be teaching 5th grade science and social studies at AIS!  I am originally from Florence, AL and have taught ELA/SS/Science/G&T since 2001.  Most of my career was spent at Hibbett Middle School (mostly in 6th grade) in Florence, Alabama.  I also spent 3 years (2015-2018) teaching in Grapevine, TX after my wife was transferred to a facility in Grand Prairie, TX.  I have just completed my 4th year at AIS.

My wife and I have 2 grown children and three grandsons.  Our son is a dentist in Birmingham and our daughter is an Interior Designer in Dallas, TX.
