About Athens Softball

  • Athens Softball Mission Statement
The Purpose of the Athens High Softball Program is the development of leadership, integrity, commitment and health. Our program strives to improve performance of each individual within the program both in the classroom and on the field. The Athens High School Softball program is designed to assist our student athletes with the knowledge and discipline they need to reach their desired goals. Results are not guaranteed; they are earned. To be sure you as a player get the most from the Athens High School Softball Program, each player must be committed to improving performance and willing to give maximum effort and be honest with themselves so that we may work toward excellence together. Dedication and diligence to the program and the game will not only pay off within the game itself but also throughout life.

"If it doesnt challenge you, it won't change you." - Fred DeVito
