Mrs. Shaneka Harris
Welcome! I am an Athens native who graduated from Athens High School in 2004. While a student at AHS, I was a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, FBLA, and JROTC. I graduated Calhoun Community College, Cum Laude, with an AS degree in both Accounting and Business. I graduated, Cum Laude, from Athens State University with a BS in Accounting and a Master’s degree, magna cum laude, in Instructional Design and Technology from Walden University.
The youngest of three children, I have two brothers. My husband and I have three children; two sons, D'Undre, and Jesstan, and one daughter, Madisyn, who attends Athens City Schools.
Tutoring four days a week at the David’s Temple MB Church Operation Timothy program, I help to provide a safe environment and homework help for children in grades 1-12. I am a member of the New Life Church in Athens where I work with the youth ministry, and the H4 community outreach program.
I enjoy working with young people and have a passion for teaching.
