I graduated from West Limestone High School,  then went on to get my BSED in mathematics  at Athens State University.  I also graduated from the University of North Alabama with my masters degree in mathematics education.  I taught for several years at both Ardmore High School and West Limestone High School before coming to Athens.  I will be starting my twelfth year at AHS this year,  and this will be my 23rd year teaching.  I am married to Mike Malone, and we have one daughter, Lily.  Lily is a 2016 graduate of Athens High School.  She is currently in nursing school at UNA.  I enjoy teaching Geometry here at AHS, and planting and growing flowers in my garden at home.
