Hello All! 

I currently teach English 9 and English 9 Honors for the AHS Freshmen Academy. I serve as the ELA department chair,  and I coach the Athens High School Scholars' Bowl team.

Since educational technology has always been a priority for me, I began writing, reviewing, and curating educational content for Participate Learning as an educational mentor.  I love to present at EdCamps and teacher technology professional development sessions. I previously taught in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, and, while there, I became a writing consultant for the Tampa Bay Area Writing Project, a sector of the National Writing Project.

I love music, reading, and learning.  I recently finished my Doctoral program in Educational Technology.

Above all, I love spending time with my husband and two daughters as we hike, bike, travel, and experience new adventures!

I am thrilled to have you in my class as we explore language arts!
