Welcome to Athens Middle School!

I am Sherry Patterson McEwen and I'm a graduate of Athens State University.  I have taught at Athens Middle School for the past 20 years!  I absolutely love teaching this age group because they keep you young and they keep you on your toes.  Never a dull day in a middle school classroom.

I am married to Jeff McEwen and we have two wonderful daughters, Riley and Kaley.   My oldest daughter, Riley is a ninth grader at AHS and my youngest, Kaley, is a fifth grader at AIS.  We live in Athens and love to support the Golden Eagles as well as the University of Alabama.  Roll Tide!
