I am a native of Athens and am extremely proud to be an Athens Golden Eagle! This is my 24th year teaching Physical Education in the Athens City School System. For the first 19 years of my career, I taught p.e. and coached sports at Athens Middle School. This is my 5th year teaching at iAcademy (Athens Elementary), and I am so excited to be a part of such a great school!  My love for children called me to this profession and it continues to be my passion. I want to be a positive influence and an inspiration to our youth in this wonderful community that I love to call my home.

I am married to Donnie and together we have 3 awesome children and 4 precious grands! I love the out of doors and I like to read, travel, and most especially, spend time with my family and friends, and, oh yeah, I am a huge sports fan!
