HELLO! My name is Jim Horn. I am a Social Studies teacher at Athens Middle School. I am a military brat and lived in many different places. I spent most of my childhood in Germany, and graduate High School in Louisiana. I have attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana, which is called the University of Louisiana in Lafeyette today. I recieved my teaching degree from Athens State University. 

I love teaching the Social Sciences and Coaching whatever sport in in season. Right now I am a Football, Wrestling, and Soccer coach. When not in the classroom, I keep busy with my wife and 4 year old son. I love going on biking trips; my longest has been 200 miles in 2 days.
