Mrs. Amanda Gudmundsson, Ed.S.

Hi my name is Mrs. G. I grew up in GA, and I am most definitely a DAWG fan!  I have 2 wonderful kids, my oldest is a graduate student at University of Iceland, and my youngest a current student at the University of North Alabama --both are graduates of Athens High School.

Current position:

I have been in education for over 19 years.  I currently teach grades 6-9 History at ARMS, in addition to 11th grade Honors History, and Dual Enrollment History for Athens High School.  I also serve as the DC and NYC field trip coordinators for AMS, and ARS.

My education:

I have a BA from the College of Charleston, M.Ed. in History and Education from the University of Montevallo, MA in Instructional Leadership from the Univ. of N. Alabama, and my terminal degree is an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University.

I love to travel, and spend a lot of time in Iceland; where my husband's family is located.

Welcome to ARMS, you're gonna love being an Golden Eagle!
