Mrs. Susan Killen

Hello!! My name is Susan Killen and I love Athens City Schools. I attended Athens Elementary, Athens Middle, and am a proud Athens High graduate. It is a joy to teach in this school system at SPARK Academy at Cowart Elementary.

This is my 25th year at this school and I'm excited about our 6th year as a STEM-focused school. I have taught Kindergarten and First Grade. I enjoy working with students and teachers in all grades in our school as well as our system.

I am married and have a son who is a freshman at Jacksonville State University. My hobbies include spending time with my family, running, reading, and serving at my church.
