The mission of the Spark Academy at Cowart counseling program is to provide a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate school-wide program that promotes the intellectual, emotional and social development of all students. Through the use of individual, small group and large group lessons, I strive to make a positive impact that supports and enhances student success.

I have worked in the field of counseling for over 20 years.  I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Alabama State University, Montgomery, AL and a Master’s degree from The University of Louisville, Louisville KY. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board Certified Registered Art Therapist. I have two awesome children and one spoiled dog. In my free time I enjoy reading, painting and spending time with my family.
