Ms. Leslee Gaston
Hello all! I am Ms. Leslee. I am an eighth year teacher for ACS, and I am teaching preschool this year. I am originally from East Limestone, Alabama, but I currently live in Clements, AL. I have an Early Childhood Education degree from Athens State University (2015) and a Master's degree at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in Differentiated Instruction with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders (2018). I am currently attending The University of Alabama in Huntsville to get another Master's Degree; this time it will be in ABA therapy and visual impairments. I worked in Athens City Schools as a behavior specialist for two years (2015-2017), and in the positive behavior support unit for two years (2017-2019). I have also been a Registered Behavior Technician for two years (2015-2017), and I have trained in behavior for the past ten years. I was so blessed to make the move to preschool and have my own classroom three years ago! This will be my fourth year in preschool.
Just a little about me personally, I love to read, watch Netflix, and spend time with family. I have a Shih Tzu- Maltese mix (Bowser), an Austrailian Shepherd (Trooper), a husky (Koda), three cats (Hoban, Nyx, and Nox), and a rabbit (Albus). I have heart for animals (and tend to take all the strays in!). Most of my time is spent taking care of those animals!
If you have any questions, feel free to email me at leslee.gaston@acs-k12.org1
I look forward to a great year!
