Ms. Leslee Gaston

Hello all! I am Ms. Leslee. I am the elementary positive behavior support teacher for the upcoming school year. I am originally from East Limestone, Alabama, and still currently live there. I have an Early Childhood Education degree from Athens State University (2015) and a Master's degree at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in Differentiated Instruction with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders. I have worked in Athens City Schools as a behavior specialist for two years (housed at Athens Elementary), and in the positive behavior support unit for one year. I have also been a Registered Behavior Technician for the past two years, and I have trained in behavior for the past six years. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to do this!

Just a little about me personally, I love to read, watch Netflix, and spend time with family. I have a seven year old Shih Tzu- Maltese mix named Bowser. He goes everywhere with me but doesn't like car rides very much. I enjoy traveling with family and friends, as well as just staying at home. My lifelong goal has always been to travel out of the country, so I am looking forward to doing that in the upcoming years.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me at leslee.gaston@acs-k12.org or 2565279943 and I will respond as soon as possible. I look forward to working with everyone this year!
