Mrs. Sue Noah

Hello, I am Sue Noah.  I graduated with an Early Childhood Education degree in 1992 from Auburn University and have a Master's degree from Universty of West Alabama!  I currently teach kindergarten at Athens Elementary and this is my 13th year to teach in Alabama.  I am a PAEMST winner for the state of Alabama and currently serve on the State Math Standards Committee. I am pursuing my National Board certification in Literacy to further my education.

I am from Selma, Alabama and moved here in 1992 when I married my husband.  I have been married for 27 years and we have 2 children.  I have a son that lives in Birmingham and works for Ruskin Packaging and a daughter that is currently living in Auburn attending Southern Union in the radiology program.

When I am not teaching school, I love to spend time with family and friends.  My hobbies include aerobics, boxing, and running!  My favorite book is The Little Engine That Could.  My favorite foods include Mexican and donuts!  My favorite color is pink and I enjoy listening to country music.  When I am not working on research for National Boards, I enjoy watching the Hallmark channel.  I LOVE to teach and watch my students grow socially and intellectually.

I always played school as a child and knew immediately that I wanted to be a teacher!  I want to make a difference in the lives of as many students as I can. I enjoy helping strugglying students reach their full potential and further the students that are already soaring. I believe all children can learn and be successful. I am an encourager for all and help children see their full potential. My passion is to make a difference in all of my students lives and to leave footprints on their academic path. By doing what I love, I can inspire and awaken the hearts of others!
