I was born in Champaign, IL.  My father was in the Air Force, so I moved around quite a bit growing up. We moved to Elkmont, AL when I was entering 7th grade.  I graduated from Elkmont High in 1999.  I later went on to earn a BS of elementary education from Athens State University.  I taught in Madison County for 11 years before coming to ACS.  I am married, and I have one child. 

I have many hobbies and interests.  I am a huge Alabama fan.  I also love Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Indiana Jones.
