Welcome to my page!  My name is Stephanie Young and I am excited about another school year here in Athens City!  I have been teaching for 17 years and absolutely love it!

 I am married to a wonderful man, Stan Young.  We have been married for 18 years and have 2 wonderful girls, Maddox who is 14, and Brookelyn who is 11. We also have a dog that is adored named Gus!  We have lived in Athens for 8 years.  My husband and I are originally from Birmingham.  I graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.  I LOVE all things Auburn!  I have just completed my graduate degree from West Alabama in Early Childhood Education.  It was a long year, but I am so proud of it!  

I love to run!  I completed my first half-marathon this past April.  I am so proud of this!  I also run races with several teachers from our school.  It is so fun and we love doing it together! 

I am looking forward to another great year in kindergarten at Athens Elementary!
