B.S. Elementary Education Early Childhood

Mrs. Julie Morgan

Hey! Welcome to Eagles Nest Preschool. My name is Julie Morgan and I am in my 7th year of teaching preschool and my 26th year teaching school.  My preschool room consists of Peer models and Special Needs 3 and 4 year old boys and girls. Here, we learn social skills, fine and gross motor skills and academics.

I graduated from Athens High School in 1988. (Forever a Golden Eagle!) I attended Calhoun and then Athens State, where I was a cheerleader for the basketball team. (Go Big Blue!) I graduated in 1993 with a B. S. in Elementary Education. I began my teaching career in 1994 in Georgia, then on to California, where I taught for three years while my husband served in the Air Force.  After his time in service, we returned to Athens, where I taught for 6 years in the Limestone County School System and then transferred to Athens City in 2008.  I added Early Childhood to my Alabama Teaching Certificate, an accomplishment that I am proud of.

I have been married to my husband Clay for 27 years. We have 4 beautiful girls, 2 sons-in-laws, 2 handsome grandsons and a beautiful granddaughter.

It's great to be a GOLDEN EAGLE!
