ACS Summer Session 2025
ACS offers Summer Session opportunities for both Athens High School and Athens Middle School.
AHS Credit Recovery
Credit Recovery is for Athens High School Students (grades 9-12) who have not been successful in mastering content standards in a core course, earning a final average between 40 and 60. Student will take only the non-mastered state standards of the course (when the previous teacher provides a list of mastered or non-mastered standards).
AHS Summer School
Summer School is for Athens High School students (grades 9-12) who have not been successful in mastering content standards in a core course, earning a final average below 40. This option enables students to repeat an entire previously failed core course.
AHS Credit Advancement
Credit Advancement is for high school students (grades 9-12) interested in taking a new course.
AMS Summer School
Summer School is for Athens Middle School students (grades 6-8) who have not been successful in mastering content standards in a core course, earning a final average below 60. This option enables students to repeat an entire previously failed core course.
