What is the ACT Plus Writing Exam?

The ACT Plus Writing Exam is a standarized test designed to provide an indication of how prepared students are for the first year of college.  The exam measures reading comprehension, knowledge of writing conventions, and computational skills and then compares student scores to high schoolers from across the country.
