About Athens Volleyball

The Athens Volleyball program enjoys a long and proud tradition of excellence. We have varsity, junior varsity and middle school teams (7th and 8th grades). Our players are first students, then athletes. Most importantly, they are leaders; leaders in the classroom, leaders in our community, leaders in service and leaders on the court. Athens Volleyball is committed to building young ladies of character, compassion and confidence. The Athens Volleyball program considers it an honor and privilege to support and guide our young student-athletes as they develop important life skills through volleyball. It is the mission and goal of the Athens Volleyball program to create a safe and nurturing environment for players to learn discipline, responsibility, respect and leadership. Tryouts for middle school, JV and varsity teams are held each year in the spring for the following school year.
