State Report Cards
2023-2024 Student Achievement Accountability
The Alabama State Department of Education recently released the 2023-2024 State Report Card for schools and districts across the state. The report card reflects components such as academic achievement, academic growth, chronic absenteeism, graduation rate, college and career readiness, and more.
ACS proudly earned the following:
- Athens City Schools - B/86 (1 point increase from previous year)
- Athens High School - B/83 (5 point increase from previous year)
- Athens Intermediate School - B/83
- Athens Middle School - C/76
- Athens Renaissance School - A/92
- FAME Academy at Brookhill Elementary - A/97 (7 point increase from previous year)
- HEART Academy at Julian Newman Elementary - A/97 (7 point increase from previous year)
- iAcademy at Athens Elementary - A/92 (3 point increase from previous year)
- SPARK Academy at Cowart Elementary - C/74 (4 point increase from previous year)
Athens City Schools has a long history and reputation for academic excellence.
