    Current student re-enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year will be conducted in the summer of 2021. Watch for notifications from ACS over the summer!

    A New Way to Enroll 

    The Alabama State Department of Education is moving to a new student information/data management and enrollment system called PowerSchool. PowerSchool will be the new Student Information System (SIS) and Student Enrollment Platform for Athens City Schools replacing iNow/Chalkable and SchoolMint for enrollment. 

    PowerSchool for Enrollment 

    ACS will use PowerSchool for online enrollment and re-enrollment, replacing the previous SchoolMint enrollment platform. 

    • All current ACS students must re-enroll each year.
    • Student re-enrollment is typically conducted each spring before the end of the school year.
    • Current student re-enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year will be conducted in the summer of 2021 (due to the transition to the new PowerSchool SIS system).
    • More information on re-enrollment will be provided to parents as we near the re-enrollment period over the summer.

    More about PowerSchool

    PowerSchool is an easy to use, web-based Student Information System (SIS) that will serve as a tool for parents, students and teachers to communicate student performance. PowerSchool can be accessed from any place a parent/guardian has internet access. More information on the new student database system will be shared at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year.
