AHS STORM SHELTER will be open to the public on Saturday, December 9, if a tornado watch is issued for Limestone County. The shelter will close at the conclusion of the tornado watch.
SHELTER RULES (STRICTLY ENFORCED)
-No firearms or weapons permitted.
-No smoking or vaping allowed.
-No alcoholic beverages or drugs allowed.
-No pets allowed, with the exception of Certified Service Animals (registration documents are required).
-Children must be supervised at all times.
-Be respectful of others.
-The Shelter will close at the conclusion of the tornado watch.
SHELTER ENTRANCE

EVENT TIME CHANGE The Athens High School Concert Band invites you to enjoy the sounds of the season! The Christmas Spectacular will be held on Saturday, December 9 at 4:00 PM (please note new time) in the APAC/AHS Performing Arts Center. Admission is free. CONGRATS TO MR. MOORE The Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools (CLAS) recently selected Willie Moore, Athens High School Executive Principal, to serve on the esteemed CLAS Board of Directors. In the Alabama Association of Secondary School Principals (AASSP) Director role on the CLAS Board, Mr. Moore will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative programs, resources, and initiatives to help shape the future of educational leadership. We are so proud of Mr. Moore for being selected to join this distinguished group of educational leaders who are dedicated to advancing excellence in leadership and public education in Alabama.
Homecoming Court representatives will be recognized and a Queen will be crowned at half-time at the Homecoming Game on Friday, September 22.
