  • Pomp and Circumstance

    Congratulations to the Class of 2018! Athens City Schools celebrated 237 graduates from AHS, 34 of whom were honor grads. All AHS honor graduates share the rank of #1. Athens Renaissance celebrated their second commencement service at the Limestone County Event Center in May. And so the adventure begins! Good luck graduates!

  • Elementary Teacher of the Year

  • Teacher of the Year Gratitude Banquet

    Teacher of the Year The 3rd Annual Teacher of the Year Gratitude Banquet presented by the Athens City Schools Foundation is November 15 at 6:00 pm at Athens State University in the ballroom. Following dinner and entertainment, each school's Teacher of the Year will be recognized and awarded. The evening ends with the annoucement of the district level elementary and secondary Teacher of the Year winners.
