Athens City Schools Child Nutrition Program
Our mission is to provide affordable and nutritious, tasty meals to students and staff of the Athens City Schools. Below is some information about our services during the 2008-2009 school year:
7 serving sites: 4 elementary schools, 1 intermediate school, 1 middle school and 1 high school.
Average student lunches served per day - 2124
Average student breakfasts served per day - 632
Average ala cart sales per day - $854.31
The school system participates in The United States Department of Agriculture Child Nutrition Programs National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs which provide meals at reduced or no cost to eligible students.
